Shaw also raises the question of whether Abedin lied to the FBI during its investigation:

But here we have evidence from 2010 of Abedin forwarding classified documents from the secret server to an account called “Anthony Campaign” which is presumably the email account on her husband’s laptop. So doesn’t that mean that she (and possibly Mills) lied to the Federal Bureau of Investigation during their probe of the case?

He adds:

I’ve been hearing a lot lately about how people who lie to the FBI are in a lot of trouble and could face jail time, even if the subject of the conversation they lied about wasn’t illegal. In this instance we’re talking about a clearly illegal act, specifically sending obviously marked classified State Department documents to a private laptop controlled by someone without a security clearance.

If lying to the FBI is such a big deal, aren’t we being a bit selective in prosecution if somebody isn’t indicted over this? Or does the fact that Clinton and Abedin are no longer in the mix for a national political office mean that we simply don’t bother?

I think the answers to the two questions are “yes” and “yes.”

Abedin should not have been handling those documents because she was not authorized to touch them let alone move them from one laptop to another.

She never received the proper training. Hillary cackled one time at how successful she was in keeping Huma from having to meet with the agent in charge of conducting the training.

In other words, Huma Abedin did not have the proper security clearance. And I am sure neither did Carlos.

So, for those that know: Was the FBI aware of these emails on Carlos’ laptop when they let Hillary off the hook? Or, are these new emails that were not part of the investigation. I’m confused.

Mostly agree. My nitpick is that I don’t think 0vomit really knew even half of what was going on. He was/is totally corrupt and just as deserving of prison time, but he is a dimwit who wasn’t smart enough to be involved with much of what was happening. My opinion: So long as he had a supply of drugs, sex, lavish expensive entertainment, and an opportunity to take revenge on whitey (or any other perceived enemy), he was satisfied.

Wouldn’t bet on that. There are 10,000+ sealed federal indictments that have been quietly distributed to federal courts around the nation (a “normal” year would be about 1000 sealed indictments) in the later half of the year and lot’s of talk about oddities at air travel, airports and GITMO. Then there’s the president’s Dec 21, 2017 Executive Order declaration of a national state of emergency that freezes funds and would shift such indictments to military tribunals so....

they KNEW that Hill mishandled classified info on her off-site rinky-dink server wide open to every hacker.

They KNEW that she had people strip the confidential headers off messages and forward them to cronies at Clinton Foundation and Huma to print out at home, etc.

They supposedly did not know that Carlos Danger’s laptop had backed up 6000000 emails from Hill’s blackberry, nor the existence of a folder named “Insurance” where Huma had forwarded classified emails to the perv’s campaign email address.
