“Ten people have been killed overnight in anti-government protests sweeping Iran, according to state TV”

Perfect opportunity to shame our Western allies into reimposing sanctions that Obama lifted for his ill advised nuclear treaty. They won’t do it if Iran violates the terms of the nuke treaty but we have a better chance of using “human rights” violations and the violence in the streets to have the EU reimpose sanctions and put the mullahs in an economic vice during this uprising which may potentially lead to their demise.

Yes - the President's tweets are indicating that angle is being worked. I will say Haley's pivotal smackdown speech at the UN back on December 21st signaled the Iranian public that it was go-time. The wild card in this is, as always, the military, as to which side they will align with.
