Oregon is a sanctuary state also. There are no laws enforced here and no cops to be seen anywhere....unless the perp is white.
IDK, I’m kind of in favor of states’ rights rather than a dictatorial federal government. What I’m not in favor of is having the rest of the country fund the stupidity of liberal states.
(I’m also not in favor of sanctuary cities/states, but to me, that’s like not being in favor of inviting criminals into one’s home. If you invite them into your home, that’s your free choice. Just don’t expect me to pay for what they steal or the damage they do.)
My first thought was sabo, but these look like permanent, affixed signs (he does stuff that is easily removed).
As the courts made clear to AZ, states can’t enforce their own immigration laws.

Not really. We fought illegal immigration like crazy in this state and eventually got Prop 187 which denied benefits to illegals. Federal courts made sure it was never implemented. Today the kids of those illegal aliens make up the majority of the state. We did everything short of an armed revolt to try and save the state.
CA voted for and passed prop 187 and it won BIG. After the election victory, the state working in concert with their fed co-conspirators burned the ballots and declared California's free election to be illegal.
And we now see the results of that epic government oppression and intrusion, coast to coast, as all it did was emboldened millions more illegals to join the free for all. Just like George Boosh did.
I remember Prop 187, but forgot some of the details. It was a travesty of justice to have the will of the voters nixed like that.

I gave up on any idea that the US system was democratic or just at that point.

All criminals of all races need to protest this blatant racist policy. Otherwise Oregon/Portland is practicing “white privilege” and that’s a Marxist No-No!
The jails need racial proportionment for inmates. And no Orange jumpsuits. People would think the jails are supporting Syracuse.
“SAFETY-BELT LAW ENFORCED” - immigration law, not so much.
It’s a prank .....for now. It will soon be touted as official policy and be documented as such.
