Who?

Repubbie lites...

Or the Dims...

Or the Uni-Party...the reach around Party like freaking Orrin Hatch?

He was a no good piece of carp...who loved Teddy.

I've no love for that guy....what so ever.

I've said it before...and I will say it again....this country NEEDS TERM LIMITS,,,,!!

We TERM LIMIT the POTUS...and we need to TERM LIMIT the Senators..and Congressman also. PERIOD.

There was absolutely zero intention by our Founders for any Legislator to spend multiple years and years in Washington...tending to the Nations needs.

It is a corrupt system,,,,and it needs to STOP.

Huntsman is the best choice at this point.
Definitely bring him back from Russia and appoint another Russian Ambassador.

Mittens would attempt to sabotage President Trump’s agenda, as would McMuffin and Mia Love should not be trusted either.

Hopefully, Huntsman’s daughter, Abby can drum up a little publicity for her father when she returns from maternity leave on Fox and Friends weekend.

Would have been wonderful if Hatch had tried to hang in there for one more term, serving out all of President Trump’s two terms. I guess age caught off with him.
Still hurts to lose such a loyal MAGA advocate who wielded immense power to pass legislation.

I hope primary candidates will evoke Mittens’ aristocratic proclivities (the car garage in his CA home) and offer Utah voters a decidedly more middle/working class alternative.

Mittens could probably run for office in at least four states.

Massachusetts (where he was a one-term governor)
Michigan (where he was born and where his father was governor)
California (where he has the home with the car elevator)
and
Utah (largely based on the Mormon LDS religious connection)

Going to sorely miss Orrin Hatch, who recently had spoken so glowingly about President Trump!!!

Romney is about 70, so come on, isn’t there anyone under 40 who is a conservative? No Romney...never, ever..

I wasn’t aware he was that old.

Yes, I’d have to agree with your take on it.

Of course I would have ruled him out on other grounds too.

Yeah, that’s the same result I got — two threads with opposite headlines. Hence my “LOL”.

When I do searches, there are frequently tens of thousands of articles I’m not looking for.

Here it cut the selection down to two.

Frankly, that’s pretty darned good.

Hatch's campaign slogan when he ran the first time was:

"What do you call a Senator who's served in office for 18 years? ... You call him home."

And that was 40 years ago.

Hatch was a good Senator, but it's hard to live a contradiction like that down.

I am all for doing whatever it takes to keep Willard from being the Republican nominee.

But if he gets the nomination and the choice in the general election is either Willard, who will probably vote for most of Trump’s judicial nominees, or a Democrat, who will vote lockstep with the other Democrats to block all of Trump’s nominees from ever getting a floor vote, then I would hold my nose, vote for Willard, and try like hell to get someone else nominated the next time around.

Nothing on God’s Green Earth would see me support him. Anyone knows me knows I’ve been his #1 exposer and opponent since Jump Street on FR. I voted third party when his name was on the 2012 ballot. I don’t vote for liars, con artists, the mentally ill, or Socialists, and he’s all of that and then some. If he gets on the ballot in the general, I’d urge all people of conscience to vote for a third party candidate.

Hatch was a GOPe useless...piece of carp.

Name me ONE thing the guy did for this country!!....

The whole time he sat on his ass...while singing with Teddy the swimmer and reaching around the aisle giving a wink, wink, nod, nod...to the other side...that was and is trying to sink America... ...

All the while collecting a pay check....from you and me!!

Yeah...he won't be sorely missed..by me and thousands like me!

Just another TERM LIMIT poster boy!!

“There is no chance that Utah will elect a Democratic Senator.”

Wasn’t in Alabama either, until they did.
