he might attempt to run, but will get nowhere. I think we’ve moved past his kind of GOP. Some will be slow to learn, but so be it.

Guessing if he runs for the Senate and wins, he also runs for President, against President Trump, in 2020.

Because being a two time loser is not enough.

I doubt it. It’ll go GOP but most likely Romney, which is just as bad as a dem on many levels but I do think he would vote for POTUS Supreme Court nominee, but that is the only thing good about a Senator Romney.

What are Romney’s ties to Utah, other than religion? Do the people in Utah appreciate carpetbaggers? Were they placed there merely to exalt that prick? Just to be his stepping stone?

not my first choice, but far better than ANY Dem.

LOL--that was the argument I used to convince myself to vote for him in 2012.

If we gain more Senate seats in 2018, Mitt will be less of a problem.

Romney will replace McCain as the biggest pain in the ass among Senate GOP.

There is no chance that Utah will elect a Democratic Senator.

He turned the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics from a disaster into a success, so they love him for that alone. I believe he also owns property there.

May lose? The Republicans would have to run someone who literally alienates their voters to lose Utah.

Hillary Clinton won 27% of the Utah vote in 2016, so if the LDS Church gave orders to vote for Hillary, nobody obeyed them.

You’re right. I’m not sure why, but I always thought of him as a New England region senator.

I was thinking it here. I should know better, having heard he’s from Utah so many times.

It was his politics that made me think that way, sort of another Collins.

Me love Mia Love.

Rev up a Senate campaign for her. She is nearly half the age of Mittens, and don’t believe for a minute that he is a sure thing.

Besides being an awesome conservative, she would appeal to the identity politics crowd, female Mormon with a Haitian family background who was at one point hunted by the Tonton Macoute. In addition, first black female Republican elected to the House, and first black person elected to House from mormon Utah.

We must retain the seat or kiss off any of Trump’s judicial picks.

I agree that electing Senator Mittens is better than electing Senate Majority Leader Schumer.

If the democrats retake the House, then the first order of business for Speaker of the House Pelosi will be passing articles of impeachment against President Trump. If the democrats retake the Senate, then Senate Majority Leader Chuckie Schumer will never allow another Trump nominee to get to the floor for a vote.

The time for knocking out RINOs is in the primaries. In the general election, if your only choice is a RINO or a democrat, vote for the RINO, and then work like hell in the next primaries to have better choices.

Romney will not be good. Romney refused to endorse Trump along with Kasich and Jeb.

I can identify with those thoughts.

I don’t get it either.

When Clinton pulled the old New York switcheroonie, that would have been a time when I would have rejected her on that issue alone, if I lived in the state.
