Wait. They are still “Undocumented Immigrants”?

Last night, on the local news, I heard they were “Undocumented People”.....

Sheriff Bill Gore: "I don’t want the politics of what is going on to get in the way of public safety."

Good luck with that, Sheriff.

Trump ought to roll tanks on Sacramento for this insurrection, aiding and abetting an invasion of these United States.

On one hand, if the 200,000 to 300,000 undocumented immigrants estimated to live within the department’s jurisdiction . . . On the other hand . . .

On the other hand, if the illegal children of these illegal invaders (making up 25% of the school population!) were not demanding that the schools teach in 40 (or more!) different languages and raising class sizes from 24 (legal) to 32 (actual), the schools could do a better job of teaching real Americans. On the other hand, if this 20% of the San Diego population were not overloading the welfare roles, the health care system, and the rest of the region's social services, perhaps the liberal do-gooders could actually do some good for those Americans who are in need.

Deport them all. No exceptions.

How about zero $ returned to california from the federal government.

If california wants to give the rest of the country the big middle finger, and wants to cozy up to mexico, then no support from the rest of the US for you.

Gotta problem with that?

Go down to mexico city and ask them for money.

By President Trump should direct that no government agency or organization, shall conduct new travel or business in California. This is what Obama did to Las Vegas years ago, and fully within his power as president. There is no law that says that the government must do business in certain states, all meetings in certain states, etc.

Sheriff Bill Gore said all the politics around SB 54 created some internal conflict for him. On one hand, if the 200,000 to 300,000 undocumented immigrants estimated to live within the department’s jurisdiction

In other words, there was little or no enforcement prior to Jan 1 either.

Cali just put out a welcome mat and open invitation for mojados-and I hope their fed funds get cut by every dime legally possible by pres Trump. I can see one possible positive result to gov Moonbeam’s idiocy, though-with increased vigilance by border patrol and other law enforcement in the other border states, more illegals will cross the border into Cali instead of somewhere else-that should produce plenty of well deserved problems for the gov and his lunatic supporters......

This should be declared unconstitutional.
It violates the Equal Protection Clause by targeting a specific group for special treatment not given to all Americans.

There is a potential positive side to this. Other states can drive out illegal aliens, let them overrun California. ICE can set up checkpoints on all roads out of California and control the infestation. Heck, California already has entry check stations, let Border Patrol do same on exit. Maybe this can be constructively leveraged.

That non-criminal illegal aliens would be "scared to come to law enforcement to report crimes or be witnesses" if immigration-detainers were honored is the big lie the open-borders local officials continue to hide behind.

Here is a copy of a DETAINER:

IT IS ONLY PLACED AGAINST THOSE ALREADY IN POLICE/PRISON CUSTODY!

NOT FOR VICTIMS/WITNESSES OF CRIMES!!!

Sheriff Gore is ethically compromised, IMHO.

He still refuses to issue concealed carry permits to nearly everyone.

He plead the 5th in the Congressional hearing of the Riby Ridge raid.

“The exact role that Sheriff William Gore played in this incident is unclear — he plead the 5th and refused to speak to investigators in the Congressional hearing following the incident. However, he was the bureau chief of the FBI office in charge at Ruby Ridge, and likely played a prominent role in the decision making process. The Sheriff’s Department’s abrupt and aggressive censorship of Karras’ posts referencing the Ruby Ridge connection makes us all the more suspicious that he committed wrongdoing.”

I want to know just how many illegals that live within the department’s jurisdiction come to law enforcement to report crimes or be witnesses.

Frankly, I bet that is a bog load of baloney.

There must be a lot of law enforcement cooperation provided by federal authorities to Kalifornia that could be denied due to this ridiculous new law.

Why should the FBI offer fingerprint identification services to Kalifornia authorities? Just let Kalifornia operate their own fingerprint database. They can purchase copies of the records presently on file; on paper, of course.

The same would hold true for any federal DNA database.

Rob a bank in Kalifornia and flee to another state? Too bad, so sad. Take care of it yourself, Kalifornia.

Sounds like an opportunity to practice "the art of the deal".
