To start with, that means about 5,000 letters to people who submitted some of the most recent address updates. The county’s general registrar is accepting similar voter registration updates through the Department of Elections website.
“I’m going to deny the transfer, I’m going to inform the voter that they’re still registered in [their previous jurisdiction], and I’m going to send them an application so they can fill that out,” Fairfax County General Registrar Cameron Sasnett said in an interview.
The commissioner of the Department of Elections called the decision “troubling,” and said there is no question that the electronic systems are working and providing significant benefits.
Sasnett and other Virginia registrars are concerned that address updates submitted through the DMV from July 1, 2016 until this fall wrongly appeared when printed out in registrars’ offices to be completely new applications.
That led to previous documentation for those voters being trashed, plus voter signatures appearing under penalty of perjury on printed forms that they never actually fully completed. The concerns include answers to questions about felony convictions or mental capacity.

In the Northern Virginia counties/cities of Fairfax, Arlington, and Alexandria, all overwhelmingly Democrat, vote fraud would make Chicago jealous.
The democrats have successfully registered tens of thousands of illegal aliens and green card/other visa non-citizens to vote.
And they do vote - bigly!
Most people don’t realize that vote fraud is not on election day - that’s just the end result. Once you are registered, there is nothing stopping you from voting.
Even voter ID doesn’t help much. In Virginia, the system at the polls is set up to read drivers licenses. You don’t have to be a citizen to have a drivers license. Green card and work visa people all have them. Even illegals have one, or two or three, fraudulently.
There are no checks at the registration point or at the registrars office on the registration forms that come in on citizenship. The SEIU and the democrats go around to neighborhoods where illegals live, or where immigrant communities exist like where green card Indians and Bangladeshis and West Africans live, and register them by the droves. They tell them to just check off the US Citizen block on the form because they know no one will ever check up on it.
Virginia was once solid red, and in 15 years became solid blue mostly because of the huge numbers of aliens registered to vote, mostly in Northern Virginia.
Spineless Republicans knew about it but did nothing fearing that the Washington Post would call them racists. Now they are paying the price. They will lose the coming Senate race against that moron Kaine because of their vote fraud apathy and because they will spite their own candidate like they did to Trump and Cuccinelli and Ollie North.
Virginia is now the eastern California - solid red to solid blue, thanks to immigration and spineless RINOs. Travel around Northern Virginia in any public place and you are less likely to hear English than the Babel of foreign languages. And it’s coming to your state as long as their are idiots like Graham and Flake and Collins who are trying to give amnesty to illegals.
