President Donald Trump distanced himself from his former chief strategist Steve Bannon on Wednesday, contending that "he not only lost his job" but also "lost his mind" when he left the White House.
On Wednesday, excerpts from an upcoming Michael Wolff book showed that Bannon called a June 2016 meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and a Russian lawyer "treasonous" and "unpatriotic."

You worried about GOP or people who will actually vote with Trump and for border control etc?
I find it very hard to believe Bannon would use the word “treason” in conjunction with the Don Jr. meeting. It wasn’t that type of meeting. The scenario doesn’t fit.
I’m not convinced Trump and Bannon are enemies.
This sounds like the media trying to instigate a rift.
Bannon is far more astute than to think he could challenge Trump at the polls.
None of this really makes sense.

Now FoxNews is quoting this “Trump statement”, again with no video or twitter proof of Trump actually saying this.

Bannon isn’t on Twitter I believe. So that is fake. This is crazy.

No, he is not. There were the allegations, and frankly, Moore ran a poor campaign.
Doug Jones is a completely unprincipled opportunist. If you think Strange would have beaten him, you’re delusional. Jones would have pounded Big Luther on the seemingly corrupt circumstances of his appointment, and he would have had the complicity of the fake news media in making Bentley’s corruption into Strange’s.
Teh best choice would have been rep. Brooks. It was McConnell, not Bannon, who sponsored the smear campaign to knock out Brooks (maybe because Brooks sponsored the one-sentence Obamacare repeal that McConnelll never supported.)
And Trump is now siding with McConnell, who did as much to lose that seat as anyone, over his own supporters.
Bannon thinks he’s a god. I’m tired of people like him taking advantage of Trump and hitching themselves to him to cash in.
Stop reposting this fake account. Bannon is not on Twitter.

Bannon looks like he's been on a bender for a few months.
Bannon’s “insurgency” cost the GOP the safest Senate seat we had and a senator who would’ve been a reliable vote on Trump’s judicial picks.

OMG if that is true and this story shows up, and who runs with it the best, can you imagine the various awards handed out? Can you say they will all be fake news when they get punked so bad the whole world laughs at them all?

Has Trump ever mentioned Bannon since Bannon was fired? And to everyone who’ve been on the Bannon bandwagon he’s said fixing things will take 20 years. Sounds like he’s trying to create some job security.
