If you were to divide the State of Alaska into 2 (two) states, Texas would be the 3rd (third) largest state in the union.
Now if you REALLY want to pi$$-off a Texan, just tell them, that if you were to wait for the tide to go out, and then divide the State of Alaska into 3rd's (third's,) Texas would then be the 4th (fourth) largest state in the union.
I like to tell Texans (when they get full of themselves) that Canada has 3 territories and 3 provinces that are larger, and three more provinces that are about the same size.
