More people killed by trains than planes with less than 10% of the passengers.

Incomprehensible.
What is that supposed to mean?
Trains carry less than 10% of travelers that airliners do?

The causes of accidents are infinitely greater for train travel, even for a competently designed alignment.
I'll leave it at that.

It’s always a combination of things that cause epic failure. If this is supposed to be a high speed line, then the plan for it is automated control. Hard to do with this bit of track in the way.

Should have mitigated it prior to opening it.

The Teachers here, however, need their raise. Monkey with that at your peril.
