So, if the whole planet has darned cold weather for a couple of decades, it does not become “global cooling”?
Sure. They could re-brand it as "Global Cooling". Hell, that's where they started. It would still be human caused and require taxes and wealth redistribution to fix. There is no fix to a problem that does not exist or that can't be controlled.
Eventually our star (the sun) will burn out in spectacular fashion (everyone still on earth will be lost, including the children). We can no more affect that than we can the ever changing climate on this planet.
