It’s been two weeks since our last rain and that was just under an inch. There’s some moisture in the air as we’ve had some serious frost at night. Shine a flashlight across the yard at night and the frost sparkles like diamonds on the leaves and grass.
We’ll have more normal temps for this time of year all next week - - highs in the mid 40s to low 50s and lows in the 30s. Not exactly a heat wave but it’ll feel like one after the past couple of weeks. LOL
But we didn’t get anything from the storm that roared up the coast. That stayed well east of us.
I imagine MS.B has kept that stove going full force!
Today the Boss’s son was moved to a hospice. He signed everything over to his mom. Some of the items have already been moved out of his apartment. The apartment has to be empty by the end of the month.
We shall have to make some trips to the apartment over the next few weeks to get it completely empty.
His mom, son and brother are with him and will stay with him until the outcome.
Strangely enough and somehow, one of the Boss’s students from 40 years ago is helping her with everything. How he became involved is beyond me but the fact that one of her ex-students is so willing to help her does not surprise me. She is that kind of woman! ;-)

Any warmer weather? I thought I was done for the day, but a project popped up.
I can’t wait for it to start.....project finished, but I’ve got some homework that I don’t want to see on Monday. LOL!

The Boss is a wonderful person and I’m honored to know her...and you, too. How awesome that her student is able to be of help. Doing that kind of stuff is hard. Not as much physically, but emotionally and mentally. Going through another person’s lifetime of stuff is HARD!
I pray that his passage will be as peaceful as Dulcie’s was. It does sound like he has a lot of pain, but morphine is his friend at this point.
