Since there is no such thing as a Palestinian, it would take a magician to conjure up a state for them.

And we’ve tried that whole land for peace thing.

This whole mess has me confused (really). Before 1948 the West Bank was part of the British Mandate of Palestine. Jordan occupied the area from 1948 to 1967. Now Israel controls it.

So what do you call an Arab who was born, say, 10 years ago in the West Bank? I can’t see calling him Jordanian any more than I can see calling him British. Is he an Israeli? Or just a stateless Arab?
