Per the Constitution, the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. But states (like PA) take it upon themselves to infringe it.

Per federal law, marijuana is just flat-out illegal. But states (like PA) take it upon themselves to make it legal.

Per the Constitution, federal law is irrelevant here and the state can do what it wants.

I won’t disagree.

But the key thing, I think, is the 10th Amendment. There are certain things that the federal government controls — or prevents others from restricting. And there are certain things over which the federal government should have no say — and that is left to the several states.

But I think the lines got blurry and now the Feds are in and out in areas where they feel like getting involved and the states don’t matter.

I’d like a re-assertion of the 10th, and I’d like a MUCH smaller and weaker federal government.
