Well, if that were the "new normal"...an official number of the actual debt, then you can now just assume the unfunded liabilities number is also massively understated.

If only we were able to explain it to them including the millenials (who are probably too brainwashed and uneducated to get it) maybe they would be the angry and motivated voting bloc to turn this all around.
Wave a magic wand, enact the Fair Tax and cut the government by 85%, we could probably see it fixed.
At least 7 went to Russia and China to settle them down after 2008. I would think if we didn’t there would be war, or something like it.
