Russia foils massive attack on its Syrian bases by electronically
controlling 6 drones, downing seven
The Defense Ministry in Moscow revealed on Monday, Jan. 8:
A massive terrorist drone attack on Russian military and naval bases
in Syria was thwarted by electronic measures and anti-air weapon fire.
The statement said that overnight on Jan. 6, Syrian militants (terrorists)
sent a large swarm of unmanned aerial vehicles to attack Russias Tartus
Naval base and Khmeimim air base. Russian defenses took control of six drones
and its Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system shot down another seven.
.... they used electronic measures to manipulate the UAVs navigation systems
and bring them down intact.
Moscow has now launched an urgent technical analysis of the captured drones,
which were revealed capable of enabling terrorists to conduct attacks
from a range of some 100km, and discovered using for the first time modern
guidance technologies on satellite GPS.
On Saturday, Jan. 6, Syrian military sources reported that their air defenses
had brought down two drones flying over the Russian Khmeimim air base
....belonging to the Islamist group, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham. It is not clear
whether the Russian and Syrian statements apply to the same incident.

I wonder how many of these drones will have “Made in USA” on them?
RQ-1s or 9’s?
Ya need to be careful with Debka, and you need to format.
I would suspect that the answer is NONE.
They are manufactured in various foreign countries, just like your cell phone, your TV, and your computer.
This is my controller. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My controller is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
Without me, my controller is useless. Without my controller, I am useless.
Who has control of SkyNet ?
“I wonder how many of these drones will have Made in USA on them?”
Probably none, since most of that technology is not ours. China is the biggest player...
Kind of a hollow feeling when your toy fighters come back your direction launching missiles.
Hence the fact nobody’s going to be their lives on UAVs.
“Who has control of SkyNet ?”
A 17 year old living in his parents basement in Montclair, New Jersey.

We are so screwed.
More than likely you’ll find ‘Made in China’ on the bottom of of the UAV unit.

Along with his millennial 28 year old neighbor also living in his parents basement.
There’s no fate, but what we make.
Don’t trust Debra. Wait for a reliable source.
The Russian Defense Ministry is the source and I trust them more than Debka going on its own.
Meltdown demonstrated artfully.
Debka. Unless someone else reports it it didn’t happen. Even then maybe not. They might have read Debka.
Debka. Unless someone else reports it it didnt happen. Even then maybe not. They might have read Debka.
That would include the BBC, the NYT, The Times, The VOA among many others that rely almost exclusively on Debka for their reporting ... who knew?
