Republican-led committees reportedly are investigating whether FBI officials once involved in Robert Muellers Russia probe helped leak to the media, based in part on text messages they exchanged mentioning news outlets.
The Hill reported that House and Senate panels are looking anew at the text messages exchanged between agent Peter Strzok and lawyer Lisa Page, who were romantically involved and exchanged anti-Trump views in their now-public texts.
They also discussed news articles and strategized on how to react. One set of texts in late October 2016 suggests they knew about a Wall Street Journal article in advance. After Page alerted Strzok to the pieces publication, Strzok responded: Boy that was fast. Should I find it and tell the team?
Other text messages reviewed by The Hill showed the two agents seemingly attempting to track down New York Times reporter Matt Apuzzo, who has covered the Russia collusion investigation. We got a list of kids with their parents names. How many Matt Apuzzos (sic) could there be in DC, Page texted. Showed J a picture, he said he thinks he has seen a guy who kinda looks like that, but always really schlubby. I said that sounds like every reporter I have ever seen. Strzok texted back, Hes TOTALLY schlubby. Dont you remember?
In another exchange, Strzok warns Page against using her work phone to hunt for information on the reporter. I wouldnt search on your work phone, no idea what that might trigger, he texted. Oops. Too late, she responded.

Just a thought... I don’t think they are romantically involved. The romantic angle provides cover for their treason. It gives them a reason for so many texts. I have not seen any lovet dovey texts yet. I think it is an excuse for their plotting and collusion against civilians and Donald Trump.
Wsj? Boy that was fast, Strzok texted back, using the initials of the famed financial newspaper. Should I find it and tell the team?

could be wrong... but didn’t comey state that he never knew of anyone leaking to the press?
They used encrypted communications hidden from their
bosses and authority using the deep web to
bring down the elected government.
If Congress was not so involved, itself, with treason
and the coverup of same, IT WOULD HAVE HANGED THESE
TRAITORS BY NOW.
“”””Should I find it and tell the team?”””
“””I have not seen any lovet dovey texts yet.”””
Interesting angle. I have not been following the 10,000 texts that closely so I do not know how many have been released.
The answers will put people in jail.
BINGO!! Who are “the team”????
we know Rybicki is on the Team...FBI Chief of Staff
In another string of text messages five days before the election, Page alerted Strzok to a Washington Post story about a timeline in the Clinton email investigation, and references a conversation she had with FBI chief of staff James Rybicki about the article.
Sorry, Rybicki called. Time line article in the post (sic) is super specific and not good. Doesnt make sense because I didnt have specific information to give.
That’s a new criminal name.
Instead of having every member have a few minutes the GOP should have only two or three members handle the questions. This is really the most serious scandal ever.
“”Instead of having every member have a few minutes the GOP should have only two or three members handle the questions.””
I agree. The typical Congress person ‘grandstands’ for 4 minutes in order to get on the evening news and then finally asks a question.
“Interesting angle. I have not been following the 10,000 texts that closely so I do not know how many have been released.”
Only 350 revealed publicly so far.
Need to flip these folks when they plead the fifth to fry bigger fish like McCabe, Comey, Lynch and beyond. Congress is not a prosecutorial entity. That is why this calls for a special prosecutor to start rolling these lower level creeps.
