Washington Governor Claims ‘Just 59 Days’ To Save Children From Global Warming

Washington state’s Democratic Governor Jay Inslee warned there was “just 59 days” to save future generations from “an endless cycle of crop-killing droughts one year, and rivers spilling their banks the next.”
Inslee went on a lengthy Twitter rant in efforts to convince the state legislature to pass legislation to tax carbon dioxide emissions. Washington residents voted down Inslee’s last carbon tax plan by a wide margin in 2016.
We have just 59 days to do our part to save our children from an endless cycle of crop-killing droughts one year, and rivers spilling their banks the next. To save salmon from dying in ever warming rivers, and our forests from being reduced to plumes of ash.

The state legislature’s session ends in 59 days, on March 8. Democrats have a slim majority in both state legislative chambers.
Inslee wants lawmakers to pass a tax on carbon dioxide emissions from power plants and industrial facilities.

The one who oversaw the charging and conviction of commercial fishermen with felonies for the crime of fishing? That one? She was the beginning of the end of conservative Republican WA St, making it a place to be away from.

Innns-lee is an absolute idiot. He was our congressman when we were in WA state, behind enemy lines. An absolute idiot. I wrote to him one time concerning issues I had with VA. He was not interested. Kind of like, well you joined, you got hurt, big deal, live with it. I wrote back a nasty letter and told him what he could do with his head and rear end. Absolute commie to the core. Expect lies out of the garbage and scum of the earth like him, patty murray, and the rest of the bums in that scum bag state. We were so, so, so glad the day we drove out of that state heading home to Alabama for the rest of our life.

Really? There were hordes of “environmentalist whackos” all over logging sites protesting - all had found jobs through ads in the PI. She had nothing nailed - other than her PR which no one listened to who actually worked in the woods or on the water. She, for all intents and purposes, pushed the War on Natural Resource Harvesters and helped push the taking private property. She was a wacko horrible person who robbed the state blind, crippling many industries in her rush to vilify farmers, fishermen, miners, and loggers.
If you were there then, you must have just read what the papers printed and the nightly local news yammered about - in the field it was totally different. We needed to have lawyers OK our work, or have law books aboard to check - else go to prison; that dear old queen, Slate Gordon, the AG at the time, did his utmost to ensure as many of us that could be railroaded were. Maybe you missed the papers screaming that we were “the last of the Buffalo hunters”, “worse than child molesters”, else you would have heard the same in many a church sermon. We were stripping the woods, were causing salmon to go extinct (because DRL was selling their eggs out the back door and blaming us for the loss). And so on.
We ended up taking our case through every court in the state and finally to SCOTUS were Slate argued another case entirely forcing us to defend on the spur of the moment ... and the rest is history, other than all the guys who served time in Federal Prision for fishing and those that gave their lives to defend our rights.
...and, yet, Seattle passes a tax that makes more people drive their cars out of the city searching for lower prices. Go figure.
It’s amazing how this deadline is always just days ahead of us. For years on end, the same deadline is just days ahead.
