Now he can just let the unconstitutional DACA fantasy expire and not replace it. Then he can address the border wall separately, and let the Dems and squishy Republican’ts contemplate going into the ‘18 primaries and elections having opposed the Wall—the issue that got Trump elected.

I agree with that but there is the possibility that rinos cross over and override the veto. That will be McCain’s last vote, bank it.
It that were to happen, if 2/3 of both the house and senate were to vote to override a sensible, US first approach to illegal aliens and immigration, then the country is already gone so there would be no reason to even worry about it all any more.
Conceivable. But my guess is that the Dems won't be able to restrain themselves from overloading the cart with extra lobbyist crap and socialism, and there will be too many visible poison-pills for too many GOP Senators. All for the sake of illegals? I think too many Republicans won't risk going for it. I don't think it will even come to a vote.
Regardless of whether he really said it, Trump's "sh*thole" comment was brilliant. All voters will be able to think of when they hear from the Dems or fellow travelers on DACA will be caca.
