I have always argued in recent years that Dr. King was fighting politicians and political games particularly those of the Democrats and JFK, who wanted to make intergrationists and segregationists happy at the same time so Democrats could win elections.

What LBJ did with his “Great Society” was to buy off people with a welfare state to silence the civil rights protests.

The truth is, is that the Left had to destroy King because blacks getting integrated and being equal was a no-no to the Dems.

That's why the Great Society was cooked up, so black families can be destroyed and they can be forever a lock for the Dems.
