No. I’m saying you have to put forth someone who can win even if they aren’t as pure as you like... refusing to accept that reality just leads to one party rule.
If I take a republican who would win in a cakewalk in Arkansas has no shot in IL.. and likewise a democrat who would cakewalk in IL have no shot in Arkansas.
You expect to put forward someone who has no shot at winning because their stand matches yours but not 70% of the rest of the electorate, you can enjoy never having any say at all.
Did Raune do anything to further the cause? A profile in Courage statement that did nothing?
