Trump's day of reckoning ... The one thing that could dramatically diminish President Trump’s chances of avoiding impeachment and chalking up legislative wins is Democrats winning the House. And, thanks to series of recent developments, Trump knows this no longer just seems plausible, but probable.
Hill sources tell us that a House Democratic takeover is now likely.
One strategist close to Republican leaders believes that a loss of the House is "baked in," and said top Republicans don't see a way to avoid it.
It would take a flip of 24 seats for Dems to take over. The average loss for the president's party in his first midterm is about 32 seats, and we're hearing forecasts of 40+ losses.

I suspect that most of the quitters weren’t on Trump’s side anyway.
I sure hope these sorts of reports are a wake up call for the GOP. It’s January, and election day is in November. We have work to do and plenty of time to do it. It seems absurd to say this Democrat takeover is baked into the cake. Way too early to say that.

There is no evidence that 10 months from now that the democRATS are going to take 40+ seats. There is only polling and it is wise to keep in mind that:

Exactly, and you have to wonder if some of the leadership wasn’t urging them to, so the party could hand Congress over to the Leftists.

We have Leftists in control of the House and Senate right now.
Granted, we have gotten judges through, but we couldn’t get Obamacare addressed, Planned Parenthood defunded, or a wall funded.
If Longhorn Cheese were the goal, we’ve still got Swiss Cheese in our leadership, and filtering down.
This is an obscure part of the leftist media trying to create a narrative and help bring it about. I think we’ll see economic growth and prosperity greater than anything since the 1980s and maybe even exceeding that. Republicans need to start touting all the improvements at every opportunity and take shots at the media that will continue to ignore the positives.

The surging economy will counterbalance the historical advantage to the out party. Most likely we lose 0 to 10 seats. On a really bad day, it might go as high as 20. Meanwhile, we gain 1 to 3 in the Senate.
The Dems are running on , more taxes , more illegals ,more Muslims ,more Obamacare , less freedom and less Trump ,LOL
I’m going out on a limb here and predict Pelosi will never be Speaker of the House again.
Another prediction, if the economy is roaring, with no Dem’s supporting tax cuts, the Rs will add bigly to their majorities.
