They are treating her with anti fungal, anti viral, three different anti biotics and steroids for her breathing plus a whole list of can't pronounce drugs. I think they are trying a shotgun approach since they have no clue what it is.

This week is the 8th week I have had the after effects of it. It started as the usual cough, plugged ears, extreme sore throat, periods of alternate sweats and chills, the feeling of being hit by a train, etc. Then came the trots, and all the rest. The dam dry unproductive cough that is uncontrollable is the worst I have ever had. Its finally getting better, except I still cant stop coughing, and gagging from that-sometimes so much that I dam near pass out.

Hit me in the throat. A friend got bronchitis. Another friend ended up in the hospital with pneumonia and is now headed to a care facility.
I had the flu in December. 104 fever, extreme weakness, aching joints, vertigo, delirium for a few hours on one night, and my ears rang. When I was awake I was able to bluff my husband into thinking that it wasn’t that bad and that all I needed was rest but looking back at it I should’ve gone to the hospital.

I don’t know the situation in other states and other countries, but in California, any child 12 or older can get HPV vaccines without parents giving consent or even being notified after the fact. Current vaccine might be 10% effective and is a waste. Wife got one and I passed - both got same cold (fairly severe but not like actual Flu) - plus I heard a new version of the Flu was circulating in places. Always a crap shoot and I pass on the shots more often than not over the last 25 years and never had what i would call real Flu in that period - I usually get more “colds” and other ailments, that hit harder and last longer in years I have the shot.
