CNN’s Cuomo Calls Indian-American Trump Aide “Raj Whatever-His-Name-Is”

Can you imagine if, say, a Fox News host dismissively referred to an Indian-American Democrat, the son of immigrants, as “Raj whatever-his-name is”? The cries of liberal outrage would echo through the halls of politics and media.
But that’s precisely how, on CNN this morning, Chris Cuomo snidely referred to Raj Shah, President Trump’s Principal Deputy White House Press Secretary. Ironically, Cuomo did so in the context of a discussion of racism.
Cuomo said that when the controversy over President Trump’s alleged “s—hole” line first arose:
“We went to the White House when it happened. Raj whatever-his-name-is didn’t back off the words.”
