We complain about how biased the so-called mainstream media is, but what do we do about it? . . .

Since the Fourth Estate is so powerful, the best way to combat it is from multiple angles. First of all, stop sharing articles on social media from left-leaning publications. More than two-thirds of American adults get news from social media. Forty-five percent get news from Facebook. Eleven percent get news from Twitter. If you find a news article you want to share, look and see if Fox News, Townhall, or another site on the right has also written on the topic. And start sharing multiple sites and authors on the right, not just the most well-known ones. We need to get people used to seeing a full spectrum of sites on the right to choose from; have them become household names. You may not enjoy Twitter, but there are a lot of articles shared there now. Learn how to use Tweetdeck or another application with it in order to understand and make use of it.
Stop watching left-leaning network and cable news. . . .
There will need to be some larger steps taken by wealthy conservatives on the right. Sites competitive with Google, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter will have to emerge. . . . With the increasing censorship of conservatives on the big tech media sites, it is becoming even more imperative that alternatives emerge.

It can work. Once Trump started praising Fox & Friends regularly, the show shot up in TV rankings. . . . If every red-blooded American just says enough and replaces the dishonest media with alternate sources, we can greatly diminish one of the most powerful left-wing influences in society.

Wont do much good, as long as the commissars at Twitter are censoring posts they dont like.
Good ideas.
Try gab.ai - an alternative to twatter and facebook that doesn’t censor. Full of garbage and blather, but you can block the ones you don’t like.
I make great use of Twitter, both to find and to promote non-MSM articles.
Good Lord, people. Stop with the negative “there-nothing-you-can-do-about-it” talk! This article is the same thing others and myself have been preaching about recently.

STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND START WORKING TOWARD SOLUTIONS. WE NEED IDEAS AND ACTION - NOT SURRENDER!!!

... and good morning.
Unfortunately, a lot of people are just too used to getting their news from the MSM.
Hillary won the popular vote
More than half of the country are leftist or have drunk the leftist kool ade.
The bad media panders to that massive audience
FReepers rejoice in ignoring that fact...... we won euphoria is false
Number one way to hurt the media, cut the cord and drop satellite.
This can't be repeated often enough.
FReepers rejoice in ignoring that fact...... we won euphoria is false
Very good advice!!
I stopped reading Drudge years ago due to his insistence on posting LGBT related links/articles. Drudge also likes to link to liberal media outlets like NYT, WaPo etc. - another reason for not going to Drudge.
The bad media panders to that massive audience
The media propaganda (both in news and entertainment) have created that environment. Without the constant bias in News and Movies/TV Shows, the public would be voting Republican by a 10% greater margin than they are now.
These left wing media outlets create impressions among the public that Liberal ideas are more reasonable than they really are. There is virtually no news about the disaster that is Socialist Venezuela, or if there is, they avoid mentioning the fact that all of it is caused by socialism.
I want to use Gab. I want to like Gab. But I can’t figure it out. I feel like I’m looking at something huge through a tiny peephole and I can’t figure out where I am on the site, or where to go, or anything. I just cannot use that site. I’ve tried several times. For some reason, it’s incoherent to me. (Disclosure: I’m not techie.)

Cogito, ergo FReepum
