Next time, would a reasonable person stop his car on the highway and run to the nearest house, bang on the door, and demand to be let into the basement for shelter?

Seriously, in case of nuclear attack I’m not going into a hole in the ground for weeks, expecting to come out to a liveable world. If there’s an attack, going into a shelter only delays your death by a few days or weeks.

I’m thinking that the authorities in HI aren’t very upset over this. Perhaps they see it as a way to $hit on Trump for his nuclear button comments.

Did you know that there were multiple survivors of the atomic bombs dropped on Japan? Some almost at ground zero? At least one person survived BOTH Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
