Give Chile extraordinary credit for trying to stop pedophile crimes in the Church. The Vatican ignored their protests in 2015. Chileans tell me that most people stopped going to mass on Sundays and this reflects a tremendous loss of faith in Chile. This pope is just like politicians we have in America. They are busy destroying the organization they are supposed to represent.

My gut reaction tells me that that kind of broad public conforntation does not happen in the United States wi;;th constituents holding the Abps’ feet in the fire re abuses of the power of the priesthood.
