Police hunting moped attackers who sprayed a corrosive substance on two men have released an image of a suspect they are trying to trace.
The two victims, 24 and 41, were sitting in a vehicle when they were targeted by two men on a moped in Fulham, south-west London, on New Year’s Eve.
They were doused with a noxious substance that was later discovered to be ammonia at about 2.45pm in Waterford Road, Scotland Yard said.
The older victim suffered facial burns and was taken to a central London hospital, while the other man was checked by paramedics at an address in Wandsworth.
Neither suffered life-threatening or life-changing injuries, police said.
Detectives are now seeking Ameer Makame, a 26-year-old from Fulham Town, in connection with the attack.
A picture of the suspect shows him wearing a beige mac with a bright green, striped polo shirt.
No arrests have been made and inquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the assault.
Had never heard of this phenomenon until tonight.

Not that long ago....in living memory for a lot of people, London was the safest big city in the world. Guess what happened....
If you watch British crime/murder mysteries like the wife and I do you’ll see this is fairly common in the UK. Writers of these shows weave this kind of thing into the plot lines.

When my passport approached expiration a couple of years ago, it was Europe’s enthusiastic encouragement of their own Muslim invaders and destroyers that made it an easy decision not to renew it.
I’m quite happy with my USA-First Vacation Policy. I don’t think anybody else in the world has anything like The St. Augustine Alligator Park in FL, the 3/4-mile-wide Meteor Crater in AZ, Mount Rushmore, Devil’s Tower, The Badlands, etc.
They can have their cathedrals and art museums and acid attacks.
We may not have the years as far as cultural history, but the US is a big place, and lots of interesting things to see. I definitely agree.

Per the DM, the 2 vics are male. But no other info offered on why the perp targeted 2 guys sitting in a car in the middle of the afternoon.

Same reason as they would hide it here: the Progressive Hierarchy of Victim Groups. In the UK, foreigners are a higher class of victim than gays.
Well, we can rest assured the victims of the assault were NOT Muslim. If they were, the media would be screaming “Muslims Victimized by Racists!” (media thinks Muslim is a race)
