That will be a neat trick. Trees "store" carbon by virtue of the simple fact that they are carbon-based life-forms. The bigger a tree gets, the more carbon it "stores".

But trees do not "store" carbon-dioxide.

That's a typical throw-away line the leftist idiot authoress read somewhere. How, exactly, are you going to "manage" a forest to do that? Seems like the only possibility would be to ban cutting the trees down so they can "store" the carbon for some additional years. But the trees will die at some point regardless of how they are "managed" and release the stored carbon.
