GOP Senators Send Trump ‘Amnesty-Or-Shutdown’ Threat
Breitbart ^ | Jan 18, 2018 | by NEIL MUNRO

Pro-amnesty GOP Senators are working hand-in-glove with Democrats to block a government budget until President Donald Trump agrees to break his campaign promise and his presidency by amnestying millions of wage-lowering illegal immigrants.

The hostage-taking is being fronted by a group of GOP legislators, led by Sen. Jeff Flake and Sen. Lindsey Graham, who announced Wednesday they would not allow 2018 funding for the Pentagon until Trump approves an amnesty, saying:

But the prologue to that memo, should be the list of all the members of Congress that paid people to be quiet for their sexual harassment.

Interesting that we haven’t heard much about that anymore.

Just sent that cow from Alaska, Lisa a message to either vote with the President, or go ahead and join the Demonrats. She usually votes with them, anyway.

“Shut it down.
It can stay shut down for all I care.”

Hear hear.

The entire government should shut down for 60 days each year - just to demonstrate how non-essential it all is, and to kill off the parasites.

Then, with that lesson fresh in everyone’s mind, start it back up, but about one twentieth the size - the size and scope envisioned by the founding fathers and according to the limited functions of government enumerated in the constitution.

And I mean shut down EVERYTHING for 60 days. Trump and his family can sit there in the White House with SS and do nothing (I’m sure he’d be willing to pick up the tab). Do no “governing” at all, pay no one, fix no potholes, collect no taxes, - even the military. For those sixty days, we’ll activate volunteer militia - just gun owners from PA alone would do it, but with the other red states, there would be no lapse in national security at all.

The alphabet departments would be allowed to die out completely each year, with all bureaucrats, lifers and deep state parasites gone for good. Start from scratch each year with a zero based budget - departments like Education, Environnental Protection, Energy - would never be started back up because the 60 days without them screwing everything up would be such a success.

Bureaucrats and deep staters will cry bloody murder and argue that throwing away all that experience and training each year would send us back to the Stone Age in skill and technology. Starting from scratch each year would be the ultimate loss of efficiency, they’ll say.

It’s a lie. The exact opposite would be the case: The economic efficiencies gained by killing off the bureaucracies, regulators, lifers and deep state parasites each year would be immeasurable.

I’ve always wanted a shutdown.

Shut it Down! No Amnesty. Amnesty for the 3.6 million the Rats want it for will result in 36 million more citizens that will vote lefty. They’ll use the chain migration to the max.

“How will the military and law enforcement arrest the corrupt if the government is shut down?”

Good question. The answer may be that you can’t expect the government to fix itself. It has to be We The People that fix it.

I think Trump understands this, which is why he ran as the ultimate outsider - outside DC, outside the GOP, and even outside any specific organized conservative group. Trump knows he has to bring it all crashing down and start from scratch in order to kill the deep state parasites.

I don’t know how or whether he can do it, but I think you’ve asked the right question.

Perhaps the people should raise up militia from the states like in the old days. Perhaps law enforcement types will have to make a choice at some point; do they obey evil orders given by the swamp creatures at the top of the federal government, or do they act as private citizens and follow We the People and the Constitution and restore Liberty to the Republic?

Maybe one day the POTUS will change the tone of his Twitter posts and We the People will get our marching orders. I hope so, because it seems impossible to cure DC of its sickness from within.

So throw out the baby with the bath water Jim?

What about those of us honest law abiding government workers who barely have two nickels to rub together between paydays? You're saying terminate our jobs just because we work for the federal government? What happens when there is no one to run the office that processes the paperwork for our KC-135 tankers to fly out on a dangerous mission to refuel an aircraft?

While I appreciate your website and what you stand for, I think a little re-clarification is in order, don't you think?

Let them shut it down, then while the "non-essentials" are out, terminate them and shutter their departments.

I agree, and as they are mostly Hillary voters and aligned with Schumer, they can complain to them.

Lets play poker put a DACA only(no dreamers) bill on the floor for a vote. I think the Dems would find a way not to support the bill. They lose their talking point for 2018 and would have to watch trump sign the bill and take credit

>>The EPA was from Nixon.

Nixon’s EPA was justified. I remember the air and waterways before then. The Free Market was not cleaning them up on their own.

Like Rush said this morning “I am not sure if Trump has the fortitude to stand firm against Schmuckie agreeing to providing full funding for 10 miles of wall in exchange for full out amnesty and continuation of chain migration.”

Yep Mulvaney has a plan to mitigate a Chuck U Schumer shutdown. The longer this goes even the dull-witted will get it’s a nothing burger of a ‘shutdown’ and another political stunt.

“If McConnell had a backbone, he’d remove their committee assignments.”

It’s not that he doesn’t have a backbone, it’s that McConnell is cut from the same cloth as they are.

He doesn’t want to upset his drinking buddies.

Do you EVER see Leftists cross the isle to help us pass Conservative legislation?

We constantly see Graham and others cross the isle to advance Leftist ideology.

Why is this?

It’s because the Leftists have leadership and we have a party with literally none in Congress.

We have the majority and have a very hard time passing anything of substance. We passed only one landmark bill last year when there were at least five big issues that needed to be acted upon.

This McConnell referred to as a year it would be hard to match. That’s McConnell’s concept of having a good year.

McConnell and Ryan both came out against Judge Moore. Their respected people under their leadership made all sorts of disparaging comments about Moore. Some made robo-calls against him the day before the Alabama election.

WE HAVE NO LEADERSHIP!

These two idiots are not helping us. They are a major factor in our lack of action once we had the majority under a Republican president.

The old media didn’t prevent the repeal of Obamacare. It didn’t prevent funding for the wall. It didn’t prevent the defunding of Planned Parenthood.

McConnell and Ryan have spent the last year working against Trump as often as for him. If an issue comes up, they’ve been ready to say bad things about him all along.

What part of all this have you been missing?

So here were are on a funding bill vote, and McConnell once again can’t keep his members in line. Typical.

You watch who these two wind up blaming. It will be out of character, if it’s not Trump.

We conservatives in SC are trying, believe me. But SC has open primaries which allows the RATS to cross over and vote for linda. Then, because SC is a conservative state at heart, linda wins the general and gets reelected. linda knows this and uses this for maximum effect. She has a job for life and knows it.

The legislators in SC need to get their stuff together and pass a law doing away with open primaries. Then we could see a change.

We have run some good candidates like State Senator Lee Bright that would blow linda’s doors off but the open primary is a spoiler.

Agree the left never crosses the isle because the left is the media and they still control public opinion, people right here on FR post something from NYT, WaPo, CNN daily and so goes the list and part of the narrative I hear on FR comes from those sources. The left has successfully turned us against each other. This wedge is what divides and hinders any advancement for civilization by republicans or any opponent of the left. Until we figure this out there simply is not going to be a great deal of change. Stop amd think for 60 seconds here and ask how did Barack Hussein Obama, a Muslim that lived in another country for much of his life—that hated this country and ridiculed Christians openly— serve 8 FRICKING years in the WH? Did the republicans freeze his agenda? Did he have to use executive orders to get anything done? How many republicans voted for his hijacking of healthcare?
