That takes care of “over” and “through”...What about “under”?

Well a bank vault don’t stop wire fraud, but it is still needed.

Perhapse the walls go down a bit and have sensors./

Bury razor wire one foot deep, two feet away from the wall in each direction. That’ll at least slow them down.

A sorta-recent modification to a banking facility used fences going down, reportedly, about 18 feet. You would know the bank name, which I will not mention publicly nor in FReepmail (no one bother asking).

This depth thwarts all but the drug-smugglers and a few others, but takes care of most amateurs. This facility needed high-security hence the depth.

Wall is sunk 10 feet deep. We send rabid honey badgers into tunnels and seal the entrance.

We need sensors on the wall that employ AI to detect proximity movements, physical contact, and any other indications of penetration attempts be they on, over or under the wall. Upon detection, the system should initiate appropriate reporting and/or countermeasures to thwart would be intruders.

We need a Smart Wall, not just a static barrier. This wall will have to adapt over time to be effective in the future. We cannot get complacent if a wall is built. The intruders are smart, resourceful and motivated. They will be an ongoing problem for many years to come.
