It's the economy, stupid! (Vanity)
Vanity (nully) | 1/20/18 | me

Posted on 01/20/2018 5:22:43 PM PST by null and void

Why shut down the government?

The Dow is through the roof.

Unemployment for democrat targeted dependent groups is at a multi generational low.

Billions of off shore sheltered company profits are flooding into the country.

Numerous companies have given their employees $1,000.00 bonuses, (Waste Management Inc. gave $2,000.00!)

Major factories are being built or re-located to America.

All a result of lower taxes and fewer regulations.

The democrats must be terrified by this!

Think about it. Their entire reason for existing is to increase taxes and governmental control. It isn't merely a money grubbing power grabbing goal, it really is their entire fanatical religious jihad.

What happens if the dual yokes of exorbitant taxes and draconian regulations are eased, and EVERYONE FEELS IT IN THIER OWN WALLETS AND LIVES.

It would be an udder (sic) disaster for anyone feeding from the government teat!

As they see it, their only hope is to crush the US economy.

As true believers, who seriously think all wealth flows from the government, they can and will shut 'er down just to crash the economy. Shutting down spending is Congress' only hammer, and we all look like nails.

Then they will blame the lack of taxes and regulations for the resulting depression and poverty. That will only work if they don't wait long enough for the benefits of economic and personal freedom to become glaringly obvious.

If they don't act now, they risk loosing all their power, and they know it.

They believe they need to destroy the economy and anyone yearning to breathe free of their iron fist.

It's all about their power, they'd rather rule over us than live with us in shared wealth and freedom.

Did you really think it was all about a few dreamers?

Why shut down the government?

It is a battle in the war between the Deep State and Real America.

Nothing more.

We are winning. We have a real General now.

And a Donald shall lead us.

Yes. A winning economy is a disaster for them.

They think they can crash it.

President Trump said that line the other day in his speech. He is awesome. Clinton was right about that, at least.

Step One = Shut ‘er down.

Step Two = Downsize by terminating the non-essential drones who weren’t missed.

MAGA!

It’s not about a few dreamers it’s about millions and millions of them eventually it’s the Democratic voting based the future. Does it make sense you shut down the government to try to take away from the good economic news? If the economy is good it’s not going to stop in 2 weeks or 3 weeks or however long the shutdown is going to last. Eventually when the government gets back up again the economy shpuld still be chugging along, and six months from now nobody’s going to remember a shut down in January if the economy still rolling along. The Democrats want to keep their voter base and grow it for the future, so yeah it’s about amnesty for millions of illegals.

EXACTLY.

The American public is starting to wake up & realize that every state governed by Democrats fails, given enough time. Their economic policies are a disaster, as are their predilection for mass immigration, and toleration of illegal migrants.

There’s no way that you can strip the economy of its vitality through onerous regulations and high taxes, while simultaneously shelling out for a lavish welfare state, bloated by millions of illegals & immigrants from hellhole countries. It’s a recipe for disaster.

Shutting down the government is a last-ditch effort to recover some control over the narrative. It won’t work though.

I don't see how "shutting down the government" would have any but a positive effect on the economy, if at all.

Can somebody offer me a theory on that?

This shuts down the government, not the private sector.

The private sector is exploding with activity.

I just wish the Washington, D. C. government working class would lose their pay. The Democrats would have to answer to their constituents there.

Yes, but to a deep swamp critter it is an article of faith that government spending is THE engine that drives the economy.

Without the government's hand to guide every facet of existence We The People would wither and die.

Karl Marx wrote their bible on that very topic. Only a centrally controlled economy can insure equal wealth for all...

Got me there. Still, the economy is going to rock while the Democrats and Rand Paul get to cry in their spilled milk.

Exactly! But shutting down the government is the only thing they have that fits their religion.

Who worships Ba’al these days?

That same question will be asked of who worships The State at some point, God willing...

I’m still wondering how the media is going to push this off on the Republicans, and when they do how it will then be pushed by them off on Trump.

Yeah, but a lot of puddin heads out there don’t listen to our arguments.

They only tune in to CNN, NPR, CBS, NBC, and read the Washington Post, and the New York Times.

If they can read...

Rush was mentioning the other day that the Democrats know very little about the FISA document or the Steele document paper trail.

The Leftist media doesn’t talk about them, or any other negative thing to Leftists.

I think he has a point.

From their news sources, they won’t hear about a Schumer Shutdown. It will be anti-Trump non-stop.
