Erdogan rides the Nato horse ONLY to get himself positioned where he can carry out his own agenda for conquest. He has proven no matter what the people of Turkey think he will indeed continue with that agenda.

They should have never let Turkey in as a Nato member to begin with....

A quick look at the map during the Cold War will make it clear why Greece and Turkey both were invited into the alliance in 1952, and kept there despite episodes from both countries of behaving badly.
