Can you imagine the outrage they would express if an identical cloud of ash, dirt, and noxious (nay, poisonous) gas were to escape from a man-made facility? Why, it would be the end of the world! Villagers would have to relocate! Crops would be destroyed! Homes would become uninhabitable!
