Correct me if I’m wrong. But I believe Trump can declassify (and likely will once all congress critters are on record that oppose it) and then anyone who’s seen it can release it.
I can’t correct you. My knowledge of process isn’t great enough. I hear so many variations, but we need some of our really good government lawyers on FR to state facts and legal sources.
They’re looking for a solution that works with the least damage to congress critters. That much I do believe.
