I disagree. If we give in on that and allow specifically 800,000 dreamers only to stay here but end chain and lottery, and a wall, I think that is a great deal for everyone...a deal where everyone wins and we can get the f on with MAGA.
Without a fully funded Wall, this is going nowhere. Don’t care what McConnell, Schumer and the rest of the idiots in the Senate do. Without full funding, Trump will veto and then every Senator has to go on record for an override. And it wouldn’t be Trump’s fault.
It will not be limited to those currently signed up, every bill widens eligibility considerably, 3-4 million, minimum.
negative - you are only condoning illegal behavior and enabling future illegal behavior. many of those 800,000 are adults and should have started the LEGAL process but have instead rode the system.

I agree with you, but you’ll get pushback here. The key thing is chain migration - it is the cornerstone of the Democrats staying on as a national party, they are simply WAY TOO LEFT WING to get anything more than 40% (if that) of American votes. The FDR/JFK generation is dying out and their American-born replacements were flushed down the drain...so they have to put EVERYTHING on repopulation - this is make or break, and Trump seems to get it, so far.
