FBI Director Christopher Wray’s chief of staff, who also served in the same position for former director James Comey, is leaving the department, according to a report on Tuesday.
James Rybicki has come under increased scrutiny from GOP lawmakers in recent months about his role in the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server, Fox News reported.
“Jim Rybicki notified me last month that he will be leaving the FBI to accept an opportunity in the corporate sector,” Wray said in a statement. “While this is an exciting move for the whole Rybicki family, Jim will be dearly missed by the FBI family — and by me personally.”

If the Swamp cannot be drained, at least force its denizens to leap out of the marsh and scamper away on their own.
Meaningless. Then entire bureau has to be torn down and rebuilt (figuratively, of course). Everyone keeps saying how it’s only the “upper echelon” who are corrupt. Bull$hit. Those same idiots told us what a straight-shooter Comey was, and then said the same of Mueller. There is NO ONE in the FBI who shouldn’t be fired and barred from ever holding a federal job in the future.
If you’ve turned whistle blower on your colleagues it’s best to move along .... other good guys will say blame it on us rather than let the “secret” disclosures public.

It is becoming more and more clear that Wray is a swamp creature.
He should be fired and investigated
WHY did Trump appoint him?
Good question. First indication to me that he was a swamp creature is that his nomination sailed through the confirmation. Someone here said he was Chris Christie’s lawyer for Bridgegate, and was recommended by Christie. If so, another screwup by Christie.
The same question would apply to a whole slew of Trump appointees.
