I think the movie 12 Strong is about our working relationship with the Kurds.Close, but no cigar, 12 Strong is about a select group of Special Forces in Afghanistan and their operations against the Taliban and Al Qaeda.
However in our Afghan campaign, Turkey was aligned with the enemy refusing us supply transportation rights over Turkish territory, while Russia did allow us supply transportation rights across Russian Territory.
