We need to change the birthright citizenship rules. Only give citizenship at birth to children of citizens and legal residents (green card). No for those here illegally or on temporary visas

Unlike you, I was not a Trump supporter in the beginning. I was a Cruz supporter. I still like Cruz, but I am so very glad that I voted for Trump. Neither Cruz nor anybody else could have accomplished what Trump has so far. Trump is trying. He is trying to hold up the country as the dogs - aka the democrats, msm and rinos - are biting at his heels. He is a fighter and not a quitter but, as Canuck said, he has to do some deals to accomplish what he wants. I have every confidence in Trump. Hang in there. He’ll deliver. I really do believe that he will.
Funding for the wall comes through Congress. Your complaint is with Congress.
If Congress refuses, how do you suggest Trump build the wall? Use his own money?
I’ll take your deal on the wall for DACA only if it includes an end to chain migration and an end to the visa lottery system.
DACA is not just the 7-800,000, but applies to all the DREAMERS several millions - if not a lot more. Not a worthwhile trade.
Maybe he should just start a public funding page somewhere, let the half of America (plus) who supports the wall pay for it, and completely by-pass the worthless Congress.

All the agreement does is put the DACA group in line for interviews and processing. It does not confer automatic anything.
If screened and vetted properly and merit based it would probably be less then 200,000......Merit based is the key!!...Can you speak English?.....Graduate from HS?....No run ins with the law?....Haven't been on welfare?.......Paid your taxes?....Welcome to America!....Here's your green card!

And no matter what the polls, Trump stood his ground. I was not a Trump supporter (I did voter for him) until now.
The so-called DACA group consists of millions - even the media lie of only hundreds of thousands, it will take many years to set up appointments, interviews, process, litigate etc. May as well not bother, as long before the process is even half done, DJT (even at 2 full terms) will have been out of office for years.
Its either all in or all out. And since everyone seems to believe the media lie that mass deportation is impossible, they will all stay.
And the "law" he wants isn't a law right now. Positive action is needed to get what he wants.
