The Sinking of the FBI
American Thinker.com ^ | January 24, 2018 | William F. Marshall

J. Edgar Hoover must be turning in his grave at what is happening to his venerable FBI. Then again, given Hoover's own proclivities to abuse his powers as the director of that agency, perhaps the predicament in which the bureau finds itself is a natural stage of evolution on an arc of governmental hubris.

It's increasingly clear that the FBI is taking on water at an accelerating rate as new revelations come, fast and furious, in the political scandals engulfing Washington. This week, for example, we see two adolescent-minded senior FBI officials, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, involved in virtually all aspects of the Hillary Clinton email server investigation and the Donald Trump "Russian collusion" (or is it "obstruction of justice" now?) investigation, acting like hormone-fueled high school lovers, discussing a "secret society" of Trump-haters one day after President Trump's remarkable election. We learned of this only because two patriotic congressmen, representatives Trey Gowdy and John Ratcliffe, former federal prosecutors both, revealed this stunning exchange to Fox News. Was the "secret society" a tongue-in-cheek reference? Given the mind-boggling behavior of the top echelons at the FBI and DOJ these days, one can't be too sure.

The keel of the USS Federal Bureau of Investigation is starting to rise out of the water, like the RMS Titanic about 30 minutes after striking the iceberg. One can almost hear the bodies of top law enforcement bureaucrats crashing against each other, like so much china on a dying vessel sinking under the waves, as the embattled organization faces exposure after exposure of truly outrageous and un-American, if not illegal, conduct.

We don’t want it to sink. We want the white hats to rise up and take it back and help to keep anything like this from ever happening again...ever.

The only way it should sink is if the white hats are too weak and lack the courage to fix it.

I think Wray is a good guy, what I don’t know is if he has courage or integrity to do the job. Mucking out the Aegean stable is a big job for a big man

“J. Edgar Hoover must be turning in his grave at what is happening to his venerable FBI”

Yeah, right. He would just be appalled it came out in public. Hoover was dirty as hell himself.

football players and the FBI guys used to be heroes. Now, if one of them used my bathroom, I’d have them get a new bathroom. What do we have left? Astronauts? Don’t really have astronauts anymore. I’m drawing a blank.

When Richard Jewell was framed by the FBI as the Olympic bomber, the FBI was done for me. Nothing but corruption there. Blow it up.

Nobody in the FBI is criticising the FBI. I have my doubts there is a white hat in any corner of the federal government. It is full of rot.

Was the "secret society" a tongue-in-cheek reference?

That's the spin, and it would probably succeed, too, if it weren't for (1) the number and identity of the participants; (2) the appalling abuse of power; (3) open connivance across other agents in the DOJ; and (4) the continuing and very well-funded effort by the participants to undermine Trump's Presidency. That's no adolescent joke, it's a genuine crime syndicate.

The FBI murdered LaVoy Finicum and a couple dozen children at WACO. There’s a long list of FBI assaults on innocent Americans and recent revelations make it clear whose side they’re on.. NOT OURS.

The FBI is the KGB.

A vile, corrupt, political arm of the state. Osucka and the Clioton's made it so. The knew what they were doing. The FBI, in its present form, must be crushed and started over from the ground up. Replace the lawyers at the top with real cops and patriots. Do it now before they kill our President and make America the new USSR.

As we speak, Mueller is fixin' to bring "obstruction" charges agains Trump's admin. Somebody close to him or even the Donald himself. While at the same time, the white hats are rushing to shut him down with the memo and the "secrets society revelations"

Who will win the race. If serious obstruction charges are laid out, the media and dems will run with it and push for impeachment. Any pushback via memo or FBI/Mueller corruption will be played as a political move to defend the Donald. I see it already playing out like that. Mueller has one move left before they take him down. He must hurry.

And all the while, the Donald's very life is in danger. That is their ultimate move. He cancelled his trip to Britain because Putin warned him of an assassination plot. Melanis cancels on going to Davos. Guys, this stuff is getting so hot it's scary.

If you haven't already, check out the Q threads. I know, I know....kooksville. At least to learn what's going on if you don't know. I don't mean to condescend. A lot of you are ;brilliant and already aware. But to those who don't keep up, is all. Please to forgive if I offend.

Did Strzok & Page do any actual work?

If 50,000 Strzok & Page messages were exchanged in a 5 month period that is roughly 2,500 a week.

In a 7 day week that is 357 per day.

Assume they slept 8 hours a day.

That is an average of 22 messages an hour in the 16 hours they were awake.

Imagine - 22 messages an hour, 7 days a week for 5 full months.

Their thumbs must be worn down to nubs.

And their supervisor never caught on, noticed that they seem preoccupied, or noticed they didn’t seem to be getting much work done?

If the various government alphabet agencies had a contest to decide which one was the most corrupt, there would be a 12-way tie.
