Actually, all those left-wing employees at the Washington Compost should be chipping in and paying a salary to their boss Jeff Bozos because they are afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome, lack of reasoning ability, riddled with bias, consumed by hate and are in the final stages of malnutrition of the brain...so they're lucky to have a job at all.

Well it is a slave operation. The best writers in the world can’t turn a sow’s ear of a premise into a silk purse of journalism. Going indy would mean getting fired.

That’s why the Compost’s staff are payed dirt.
I don’t believe one second the WaPo could be profitable, except for some obscure and creative accounting. It’s a basket case with Bezos pouring his money in it as long as it’s his personal megaphone.

I don’t know why he ever bought it in the first place, unless it was just to say he owned it at one time.

All newspapers are dying a slow death, as long as the
Internet exists.

By the time they print a story, it’s already been on the ‘net for a day.................

For Bezos to match such offerings for his beloved Post employees would require a small fraction of a percentage point of his net worth, which has grown by a cool $30 billion since contract negotiations began in May.

Irrelevant. But it shows the liberal mindset of envy and greed.

The robber barons of technology are crusin’ for it. This is like the early 1900’s when the antitrust laws were created.

There is not a single journalist who works at the Post. There are plenty of children who make things up, no journalists? No

And I’ll bet not one freaking nickel of it came from WaPo profits. But he has lots, and they don’t. Doesn’t seem fair.../s

This is a golden opportunity for President Trump show his support for Organization Labor.
And separately, ending Amazon’s tax-payer subsidied postal service AND subsidied tax-free online purchases advantages that retail doesn’t get.
