Would President Obama have been that petty to target a critic for draconian law enforcement over a movie? The way the Soviet KGB might have targeted a dissident?
Well, given the common thread of socialism in both, it shouldn't be a big surprise that he would.
It now comes to light that apparently, yes, he did. Dinesh D'Souza reports that he seems to have been in that unlucky category, targeted for any violation however minor, after making a couple of richly textured, artistically good and very popular critical movies about Obama. When a minor campaign finance violation was finally found after all that looking, D'Souza got the book thrown at him.
He now tweets that there is evidence for it:

and that quite a few government resources went into ensuring he got arrested for something, anything. Here's what he thinks might have been done, given the taxpayer cash that went into pinning something, anything, on him :

It's creepy to think there are lawmen with that little integrity out there to have not spoken out about such a blatant abuse of police power for political purposes. And it suggests that law enforcement agencies are shot through with leftists, which would mean no diversity of thought

Dinesh has already served his time ( I think 9 months community service ).
Why do people act like they are shocked? African-centric Obama acted just like the African leaders he admired, and the corrupt Chicago politician that he was.
Corruption and abusing his power was baked right into the Afro-centric cake, and only a fool would have thought something like "ethics" would have applied to Obama.
He lied on his freaking Bar exam, so why anyone would have expected him to behave ethically is just evidence of their naivete.

Dinesh is the first and only criminal charged for his crime in all of the campaign donation history in the USA.
He is charged by the Obama’s administration and he happens also to be a virulent Obama’s critics.
Anyone with a functioning brain would conclude the real criminal is NOT him.

D’Souza served prison time, cannot own a firearm and cannot vote.
According to Wikipedia (take that for what it’s worth), he was sentenced to 8 months in a halfway house, 5 years probation, $30,000 fine, and since it was a felony, I will assume that not being able to vote is part of that punishment.
Sometimes the conspiracy theory turns out to be true. Actually, when discussing Obama most of the time the conspiracy theories turn out to be true.
Maybe he should move to one of the states that the dem governors gave/ shall give the vote to felons. That will teach ‘em.
