Months of missing text messages between two FBI officials have been located, according a letter obtained by The Hill.
Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz told Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) in a letter that the messages spanning from December 2016 to May 2017, previously though missing due to a technological glitch affecting FBI phones, have been found.
“The [Office of the Inspector General] has been investigating this matter, and, this week, succeeded in using forensic tools to recover text messages from FBI devices,” the letter read.

Horowitz wrote in the letter to Johnson and Grassley that his office will provide copies of the recovered texts to the Justice Department, after which leadership can decide how to proceed with distributing the information to Senate committees. Three congressional committees are investigating Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

They went missing because someone wanted them to go missing.
Destruction of evidence, obstruction of justice, collusion, and who knows how many more felonies were committed.
Of course we won’t ever know who did it, and certainly NOBODY will ever be punished.

Perjury and obstruction have become low-risk crimes for members of the Deep State. That must change and change soon.

If the messages were actually recovered from the phones themselves, then it seems to me that they had been simply deleted on the phones. It’s a lot less work for the system software to just mark something deleted than to purposely overwrite the storage.
And don’t forget Eric Holder (contempt of Congress) and Lois Lerner (evil beeyotch who weaponized the IRS). Both skated, and it was Sessions who let Lerner skate.
Will the DOJ provide all of the texts to Congress or will they determine that some of the texts are too classified or too sensitive to be released?
They tried to do it “with a cloth” .... that just didn’t get the job done.
