Brace yourself everybody. The rats and thier good buddy Sessions have made point to lace in the term confidential in thier resistance. Do not be surprised if a Judge steps in and blocks the release citing confidential content.

Also, be ready: blocking it gives them time to try to trap Trump with “Trump wants it released - he wants to obstruct Mueller, so INPEACH!!!”

No judge has access to the memo, only congressional members (sans Senators)

Should not matter, gibsonguy. POTUS can order the declass and release. It’s in his scope, clearly.

Would they try? Probably. Would they win it? Highly unlikely; if we still have a Constitutional Republic.

If the rats go to their tried and true fallback, hack judges, to block release then just start leaking any and everything.

The President can not release the memo until the House sends it to him. They own it and no one else can release it.

A federal judge might try to block the public release but it won't work. POTUS is THE Classification Authority for the United States of America. ALL other classification authorities derive their statutory authority from him.

Documents are classified so as to protect information, the release of which would be damaging to the national interest. The level of classification, and hence the protective measures taken, is directly related to nature of the information.

If the President decides something, anything, should be declassified and published then, ipso facto, it is. Period. There is NO RECOURSE to the courts.

That said, I seriously doubt there is anything in the memo that is otherwise classified. The memo is a summary of the findings of the House Intel Committee. Anything classified would be found in various appendices which would be individually classified depending on the nature and source of the information. It is important to note that it is the information which makes a document classified and NOT the markings on the document. This is why Hillary committed felony when she sent and received emails containing classified information regardless of the presence or absence of required markings.

I'm surprised you managed to work the keyboard on your computer all by yourself.

The President has the authority on his own say-so to declassify *anything*.

This is beyond the power of the judiciary to rule on.
