In our area, my preference is Lowes. Their people are a little more knowledgeable and I like the layout of the store better.

I do use Home Depot as a second choice/back-up.

#19 I have both nearby. I like Home Depot for tools as they have a bigger variety then Lowes.
I go there just to windows shop : )
