A word about the source here: Other reports indicate McCabe was escorted from the building. That doesn’t happen on a resignation.
He’d have his boxes packed, and likely in the car, before he delivered his letter.

Why would Trump ask McCabe who he voted for?
McCabe’s wife got $500K from Hillary Clinton. Everyone knew who McCabe voted for. Trump knew who McCabe voted for.
