No, just one Government and one Taxing Agency, the County. And Prop 13 is in effect there too, so property taxes cannot go up more than 2% per year unless a property is sold. I don’t live in SF, but I do live in an East Bay suburban town. Have for 50 years. Current home for the past 34 years. As a consequence, my property taxes are about one-third of my neighbor’s, who just bought his home two years ago. Prop 13 is in our state constitution, which causes the current RAT “leadership” fits. We, the people, voted it in, and as a consequence, the government can’t vote it out.
