"Sometimes they let the truth sneak in...,

""The measure was drafted with the aim of reversing declines in college enrollment across the state, which fell nearly 14 percent from 155,065 enrolled students in 2010 to 133,830 in 2016.""

Loss in revenue..."

That doesn't address who would pay the tuitions. Every kid being required to enroll in college?

I guess those who are able to pay would pay and all the tens of thousands who wouldn't be able to pay would be funded by... the taxpayer? Well, New Mexico would surely get a lot more revenue if that's the case. At the hapless tax payers expense.

The straw bs will only cost the waiters. It is a terrible and stupid law.

This terrible bs will cost every tax payer at the state level and our federal tax $’s!

Bingo You win the award for pointing out again, “Follow the Money!”.

Sometimes they let the truth sneak in...

The measure was drafted with the aim of reversing declines in college enrollment across the state, which fell nearly 14 percent from 155,065 enrolled students in 2010 to 133,830 in 2016.

Loss in revenue... and probably not a single college employee was laid off.

A vocational technical school would be better for most students.
Welding
Electrician
Carpenter
Plumber and pipefitting
layout and fitup steel worker
Oil field worker
Auto and diesel Mechanics.
Heavy equipment operator.
