What you say to viewers when you get caught doing exactly that and your credibility is shot.
What they may be stressed out by is the fact they burned their Bridges with Trump during the campaign and he has never gone back or given any interviews and bashes their show every chance he gets. Now they are out in the cold and I imagine Trump administration folks even care to go on. They are Pariah’s.
They don’t want to be left behind in the end.
