Move the FBI out of DC. They live together, eat together, employ each other, play golf together, send their kids to the same schools. Our founders would be rolling over in their graves. Drain the swamp!
I saw a report that only 6% of citizens in DC surveyed gave Trump positive approval of his SOTU speech as compared to 29% in the lowest Blue state. 6%?!? The thought crossed my mind that the center of Federal Government needs to move. What a rat-hole DC has become.

Great idea! That could be a part of a massive reorganization of the FBI concurrent with a personnel “cleansing”.
Responsibility for and staffing supporting Counterterroism and Counterintelligence/counterespionage should be a separate Agency moved to report to Homeland Security instead of DOJ. And personal and biometric identification responsibility and resources (along with any future National ID type endeavors) should be a separate organization. The residual “Rump FBI” would be responsible for domestic criminal investigations only.
Lastly, a small “Public Integrity” organization staffed by “untouchable” highly ethical individuals would be charged with investigating corrupt abuses by the SEPARATE law enforcement agency staffs.
The FBI has been trying to move out of Wash. DC.
They've been looking at Prince Georges Co. MD. or
some place in Northern VA. They say the current FBI
headquarters building is old, inadequate, and falling apart.
What does the current director of the FBI Director Christopher Wray resigning have to do with this memo?
He wasn’t even there when this all happened... How will his resigning for something his predicessor did and was fired for make any difference?
That is like Donald Trump resigning because we discovered under him Obama broke the law. That is totally redicous.
